Changing the length of audio or MIDI regions in BandLab helps you control timing, build loops, and fine-tune your arrangement. Here’s how to adjust regions with precision.

Trimming Regions

  • Click a region to select it.
  • Hover over the left or right edge until the resize tool appears.
  • Click and drag to shorten or extend the region.

Looping and Repeating

  • Drag from the top right corner of a region to loop it.

Snapping Regions to the Grid

Regions snap to grid lines based on the zoom level and snap settings.

  1. Click the Snap to Grid button to enable the feature
  2. Click and hold a region to move it. The region snaps to the grid when you stop holding the region.
  3. Right click on an empty place on the track lane to open the adjust the Grid size.
