Arranging your music in BandLab is easy using regions — the blocks that represent audio or MIDI parts. You can move, copy, delete and align these regions to structure your song.

Moving Regions

  • Click and drag a region to reposition it on the timeline or another track.
  • Use the grid to snap regions in time with the tempo.

Copying

  • Right-click a region and choose copy.
  • Or use option / alt + mouse click to duplicate quickly.

Layering

Stack regions vertically to layer sounds.

Tip: Use the Loop and Zoom tools to check how each section transitions and build your intro, verse and chorus.
