BandLab makes it easy to import your own files into a project. Whether it’s a vocal take, sample, a full track, or even video, you can drag it right in and start working immediately. This tutorial will focus on importing audio into your project.
How to Import Audio
- Open your project in the Mix Editor.
- Click Import Audio/MIDI/Video file.
- Select a file from your device (.wav, .mp3) and click open.
- It appears as a new track or region in your timeline.
Drag and Drop and create a new track
- Select a .wav, .mp3, .mid file, .mp4, or .mov file from your computer.
- Drag the file on the area in the arrangement view boxed by a dotted line and drop it.
- The audio, MIDI or video file will appear as a new track.
