European Songbook: 24 songs from 24 countries to sing in schools

In my role as coordinator of the European Day of Music in School (EuDaMuS), on behalf of the European association of music in schools (EAS), I was involved as co-editor in the creation of the songbook “Unique and United in Music.” This songbook is a collection of 24 traditional songs from the participating European countries intended for singing in schools.

From each participating country, a song has been selected and included in the book in musical notation accompanied by an explanation of the song. Additionally, for each song, the book provides lyrics along with an English translation and an audio recording. The book also presents teaching ideas for each song.
